Community Project Spring 2021
Dan D Rogers Elementary School
We adopted a community outreach project for students at Dan D. Rogers elementary school near us on Lovers Lane. For part one we collected enough items for 52 bags! Well done everyone! Will delivered them to the school today, April 13th. Thanks, Will!
Part two: We will invite those same kids to drive through the church circle drive on Sunday, April 25th from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. to pick up perishable food items, which we as a church will collect and assemble that morning. If you would like to donate to this project, we are accepting monetary donations to make the purchases.
Great response! All of part two went to the Wilkinson Center pantry.

Wilkinson Center food drive -- Ongoing Support
*Peanut butter
*kid-friendly cereal
*soups ... like vegetable, chicken noodle, chicken and rice, chicken and dumplings, chili (soups that are meal-type not recipe-type like cream of mushroom or cream of chicken)
*pasta ... like ravioli, beef-a-roni, spaghetti-O's

Months of July & August -- Dry Goods & others
Dry Goods/Grains: Dry Cereal, Rice, Beans, Pasta
Can Goods/Sauces: Chili, Soups (variety), Green Beans, Carrots, Corn, Peas, Macaroni and Cheese, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Spaghetti Sauce
Staples: Salt, Pepper
Delivery of Donations
At the end of each month we will deliver these items to Wilkinson center. You can donate any items or make a monetary donation at any time. Remember it doesn't matter what or how much you donate. We
are trying to help struggling families that are in need.
